We at the Clarinda Carnegie Art Museum wish to thank the people of our area for their overwhelmingly positive response during our first year of operation.
Since opening in November, we have welcomed more than 3,970 visitors to the museum. 570 students and teachers from Southwest Iowa schools have had the opportunity to see and respond to our first exhibition Our People-Our Place-Our Time. Several adult groups have toured, including a group from the Nelson-Atkins Art Museum in Kansas City and 36 docents from the Joslyn Art Museum in Omaha. Another 292 individuals have participated in meetings and special events. Finally, we have been thrilled by the enthusiasm expressed by more than 2,700 individuals who have stopped in.
We appreciate your interest and hope you will return again and again.
